Houston OT makes the switch to ISU

As expected, a three-star Houston offensive lineman has committed to Iowa State after being committed to another school since the fall.

Kelechi Osemele committed to UTEP in October but the 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle did not close the door on other schools. He has been recruited by the old staff at Iowa State but did not hear from the new Cyclone regime until December. That was enough to pique his interest and get him to take an official visit last weekend. That visit had a big impact on Osemele.

Missouri, Houston, Rice and TCU were other schools that Osemele said offered scholarships at some point in the recruiting process, in addition to Iowa State and UTEP.
