Mikel Horton has transfered from Lakota East to Lakota West. Appearantly wasn't a fan of the triple option and wanted a bigger role with more opportunity to run outside of the 3 & 5 gap. My guess is Mahone will move into the Dive Back position and Booby Brown into the Pitch Back Position. Mahone doesn't have the size of Horton but is a hard runner nonetheless. It will be interesting to see if this changes the offense much. At 6'3" 230 lbs it would have been fairly easy for Horton to pick up 5 yds per carry. 

Wow! That has a major impact on things. We will have to reach out to coaches for both schools.

Horton will make a difference for West. He is much bigger than any back that Cox has had. The question with Horton is can he handle the load for a full season. Being durable and and staying healthy will be the key for him to take the next step in his development.

I heard he didn't participate in the BGSU camp held at West last Friday due to injury.

It's an interesting move. He'll probably get more carries at West but East has the better overall talent in the varsity classes IMO. Also I think East has a much better coaching staff overall.
