SCOTT EAGLES
Head Coach: Dave Campbell (12-30 @ Scott, four years, 12-30 overall)
2011 Record: 4-6, 1-3

Overview: Head coach Dave Campbell sees the light and the end of the tunnel for Scott football. The Eagles have never had a winning season. The 2012 team looks to change all that. This could be a monumental campaign for the program. Scott will call upon a large contingent of juniors to take it up a level. No matter what this team will have to make their own breaks if they want to jump this hurdle.

A big group of players line up across the front for the Scott offense and defense. Chase Ford and Trevor Evans set the tone. They combined for 7.0 sacks in 2011. Brandon Edmonds is also poised for big year. Juniors Nathan Penick, Corey Fitzwater, Blake Gay and Kameron Crim will also make impacts this fall. Classmates Jordan Smith, Josh Castleman, Nick Thurza and Chris Roberts are proven commodities in the defensive back seven.

Ben Osborne should be more comfortable in his second season under center. He threw for 525 yards and ran for another 297 while accounting for eight touchdowns as a sophomore. Look for Smith, Roberts, Castleman and Reed Sparta to contribute heavily at the skill positions. Fitzwater and Crim have college potential on the line.

Thanks, for the heads up. I was going by what coach Campbell had told me.

ok then

how much longer will he stay in Eagle land before he gets run out of Taylor Mill? The last two coaches were only given 3 years

I guess my previous question was answered since he step down as head coach to take an administrative position. Dan Woolly is now the head coach at Scott. 2-8 could be a real possibility

Interesting and surprising, but it sounds like you have a pretty good pulse of the program. We have reached out to those at the school for some official statement and have yet to hear back.
