When in doubt, choose the team with the best defense. That is St. Xavier although I think the Middies are going to surprise some folks. Would not be shocked at all to see them upset Moeller. Not sure I want to call it yet, but I'll commit before Saturday.
This is such a down year for football in the state as a whole, IMO. I don't think the winner of this region gets past the Columbus regional winner. Dublin Coffman and Hilliard Davidson are TOUGH! And Pickerington Central is no slouch either.
Will be exciting either way!

I don't know who will win BUT I sure like the victor of Anderson/Lakota West to be a surprise team in the Regional Finals. We will find out if the Redskins offense is all that OR the Firebirds can really bring it on defense.

I have no idea. I think any of 6 teams could win the Region. I think as a whole the region is way way way down this year and clearly there is not a dominant team.

Xavier has beaten the two toughest teams in Moe and Elder! My only point is they should have the confidence, defense, experience and coaching to win it all!!

Right now I'd have Elder about the 6th or 7th toughest team in the Region.

Having now seen X against both Moeller and Elder, I think the Bombers come out of region 4. Their defense has really stepped it up with their backs to the wall and I expect that to continue in the playoffs.
With Hundley running the ball for X, teams are going to have to capitalize on every offensive possession they get.

St. Xavier has to be the favorites as this point, but I agree there is not a dominant team. Outside of Centerville, any team winning in the opening week of the playoffs.
I am not going to jump off the Moelle bandwagon either. They will need to take care of business and be willing to adjust their gameplan next time around against St. X if the rematch happens, but I am still going with them as my pick.

I guarantee that Moeller does not beat the Middies. Middletown has a better offense and a better defense. I bet the Middies hang 40+ on the Moeller defense.
Middletown 42 Moeller 7

Well I'll give you credit ... You were pretty close to the score, but the only problem is you made your prediction at the end of the game.
Either way that's a very impressive win for Middletown.

Then check the Cincinnati Enquirer and Ohio Varsity where I also posted the same before the game and after the first quarter respectively. I just forgot about posting to your site until later in the game.
Middletown 47 Anderson 9
