The Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) comprised of the following schools: Anderson, Glen Este, Kings, Loveland, Milford, Turpin and Walnut Hills announced today the invitation of Withrow University High School to become a member of the conference to begin competition in the 2014 ? 15 season.
The members of the ECC Board of Control began the process of accepting applications to become the eighth member of the conference in April of 2012. The process included the completion of an application by the prospective schools including a facility and programmatic/proximity survey. The Expansion Committee conducted site visits in May followed by interviews on June13. This extensive process allowed the Board of Control to assess and measure all candidates equally to determine the best fit for expansion.
Withrow University High School made a very positive impression on the committee with their dedication to students, vision for the future, desire to expand their programs and desire to be involved in the new, highly competitive ECC. The ECC Board of Control members are unanimous in their belief that Withrow University High School will be a valuable addition to the conference.
