After months of speculation, the saga of Se'von Pittman appears to have come to a conclusion. According to sources close to the situation, the 6-foot-5, 245-pound defensive end from Canton (Ohio) McKinley has switched his verbal pledge from Michigan State to Ohio State. The switch comes following an in-home visit with Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer on Monday evening. Pittman had also been in Columbus this weekend on an official visit.
Pittman, rated a four-star prospect and the No. 81 overall player in the nation by Rivals.com is the second huge commitment to come out of the weekend after four-star defensive tackle Tommy Schutt switched from Penn State to Ohio State earlier in the evening.
Pittman is the No. 3 ranked player in Ohio by both Rivals.com and BuckeyeGrove.com and fills a huge need for the Buckeyes who continue to try and add big-time pass rushers to the roster.
